22nd International
Insurance Tennis Tournament (6-7-8 June 2008)
This year, the 22nd round
of the traditional "International Insurers
Tennis Tournament", organized by Milli Re,
was held in Miltaş- Suadiye Sports Complex. 64 competitors
from 44 companies, 19 of which were foreign companies,
participated in the Tournament which lasted for
three days.
After the semifinals and finals
of the Tournament, which were watched by an audience
of more than 200 foreign and local people, couples
who were awarded were as follows:
1. Musa Ülken (Anadolu Sigorta)
- Nail Ketenci (Anadolu Sigorta)
2. Cüneyt Genç (Gras Savoye) - Gaye Topbaş (American
Life)
3. Aziz Üstünel (MedNet) - Hilmi Can (Can Sigorta)
4. Macit Bal (Anadolu Sigorta) - İbrahim Yaycıoğlu
(Destek)
And after the "Surprise"
tournament of the third day, following couples were
entitled to win prizes:
1. John Easton (Willis) - Sam Easton
(Willis)
2. Neil Attwood (Broadgate) - Tülin Yeniyuva (Anadolu
Sigorta)
At the end of the "Surprise
Tournament", which was played among 8 teams;
the couple of Sam Easton and John Easton, who played
with their "Easton Brothers" t-shirts
on and aged 11 and 14 respectively, were the winners
and also have been the youngest participants of
the Tournament so far.
As part of the Tournament; a cocktail
prolonge was hosted by Milli Re on Friday night,
a cocktail-dinner was organized by Willis on Saturday
night at Hilton Hotel, and a closing cocktail was
held on Sunday after the award ceremony.
